Tehran Symphony Orchestra to Mark Arbaeen

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Tehran Symphony Orchestra plans to stage performances on the occasion of Arbaeen.The performances, conducted by Nader Mortezapur, will be held at Vahdat Hall from January 16-17, according to the public relations office of Rudaki Foundation.Mehrdad Kazemi and Seyyed Ebrahim Yusofinejad will sing two songs “The Epic of Ashura” and “Farewell” in the program.The program will mark the Arbaeen, the 40th day of mourning for Imam Hussein (AS) martyrdom.Tehran Symphony Orchestra had earlier staged a performance on December 29-30, 2011 at Vahdat Hall, which was very well received. /129
